I’m mad for Mad Men and word on the street is costume designer Janie Bryant is creating her own line for all of us mad hatters out there to enjoy. The 60s was a great time, filled with indoor smoking, housewives in pearls, and the full glamour of Madison Ave. These dresses are gorgeous. I myself keep watching the show just to see what Bryant comes out with next. They’re figure-flattering and sophisticated, unlike a lot of the fashions we find today. This old trend is now the new trend, so you better get on board.

What this means for us: This is no trickle down from the runway. This is the everyday woman voicing approval of a look and making it come to life. This line entitled Mod is incredibly affordable and available at QVC. Points of trend include a tight (albeit almost corseted) bust with a wide or pencil bottom – and always below the knee.
